Shrunken women board

A year ago, Kristen was one of the most successful real estate agents in town. Funny how quickly things can change in such a short time. The S-Virus changed Kristen’s priorities of trying to sell the most expensive houses to dodging feet as she collected crumbs. Her old job had given her insight into where the best houses were for someone of her new stature to hold up at. Thankfully, the current place she resides hadn’t be far from where she shrunk.

The Carpenters was the perfect place for a 1” scavenger to make a home. She had been over to their place a few times remembered how chaotic everything was. Alicia Carpenter was a single working mom with 3 kids ages two, four, and eight. It meant clutter on the floor, crumbs on the couch, and no shortage of places to hide from the giants.

This morning the family was making the usual booming cacophony of ruckus as they all ate breakfast getting ready for the day. Though soon the giants were out the door giving her a temporary run of the place. She hopped up onto the toast “little” Kayla had been munching on and ate a few raspberry stacked crumbs herself. She casually observed the huge bite marks near her feet and shuddered at the thought of being on the toast while the girl was eating. Kristen pushed away the macabre thoughts and hopped off to look for some leftover egg. There would only be a small window before the housekeeper came and cleaned away this bountiful feast.

"What are you doing?"
"..Reading."

Though the mother was a retired model who considered that chapter of her life to be over, the shrinking virus breathed new life into her career.

It was hard to get a job as a dental assistant at her current size, and pics/videos of tiny people posing around normal size objects were selling like hot cakes.

It just 6 months she had secured her kids college fund and paid off the house they were in. Not bad for a woman only inches in size

Mia loved the dollhouse that her kids got her to live in for Christmas. She only wished it was stacked with actual furniture rather than fake appliances. Not to be picky but she wasn’t really a fan of the detachable roof either. Seemed anytime of the day the whole top would be lifted off and she would be voluntold for playtime

When your shrinkee was a collegiate volleyball player and still has a competitive edge, so now you're spending the day coming up with games that shrinkees and normies can both compete in.

I imagine pretty fairly high, lots of mini men and women would be on dating apps trying to rediscover love from a drastically changed perspective

Melissa stared in amazement. Here she was in her own backyard…or well it used to be her own backyard, staring up at a literal goddess…ok not an actual goddess but the girl might as well be. To her, most normal size things were godlike now. Six months ago she would have never considered her backyard to be a wild landscape full of danger and adventure. Then the S-Virus pandemic hit and everything change. She was what was called a Sub-Level 5 shrinkee. Those who were even smaller than the toy sized level fivers.

In a way she was lucky, when she shrunk, the woman had been gardening. Being outdoors at her new size might have been bad in most situations but it was fortunate for her. She was found by a tribe of Sub-Fives that had been hiding in plain sight right below her feet. They had made a home out of the base of the one tree she had in her backyard. Carving their community into wood for protection. They would go out scavenging during the day and bring back food and resources to the community. That had been six months ago and Melissa had now become quite the scavenger herself. Knowing the backyard for her normal sized days certainly did help with her new occupation in life.

She had not seen another normal-sized person since it had happened which why she was in total shock. The tiny woman had gone out to do her morning stretch before meeting up with the rest of her raiding group. She had climbed a grass stalk and was sipping on large droplet of morning dew when tremors caught her attention.

A massive silhouette of a girl manifested on the horizon as it was made clear to her that a family had moved into her old home. It looked like their daughter was exploring the backyard, unaware of the tiny beings below her skirts. Mellissa should have been running back to tell the council of the new development but the shrinkee was captivated by that massive form of the giantess and how insignificant it made her feel. The giant Marjane’s looked like they could easily level a city block. Currently they were flattening sections of the grass jungle.

New orders would certainly be coming down. The council had been preparing for someone to move in, they even looked forward to it. The fact that it appeared to be a family with kids would only be a cherry on top. All the more opportunity for good scavenging. Kids were notoriously messy and from the sound from the house there was more than just the one standing over her. Deeper voices could be heard in the distance who could only guess were the girl’s parents.

Melissa would undoubtedly be called in given her knowledge on the layout of the house in prep for new scavenging destinations. Things were about to change for better or worse.

Louis sighed, she had a new topic she was going to bring up in her “Toy Mom” podcast on Monday. She wondered if other shrunken moms had the same problem. The way her kids would now treat every task they helped her with as playtime. Like a simple bath. Couldn’t just have a relaxing bath in the dollhouse tub. Nope, had to share it with her plastic “sister” while her children loomed above, discussing what fun games they might play tomorrow with their mini mom.
