TBLeague/Phicen figure buyer guide?

Post by Queen Skadi » Wed Mar 15, 2023 4:40 am

Not sure how many people here are familiar with the TBLeague/Phicen figures or even collect them but I figure there has got to be some overlap in interests with this community.

Just wondering if anyone knows of any good up to date guides on the bodies that TBLeague/Phicen make and sell? Not so much interested in the pre made body kits like Vampirella or Red Sonja but more so just the default bodies and head sculpts they provide, mostly interested in the 1/12 scale or 6" models but kind of also want to get a 1/6 scale or 12" model for reference as well, my initial goal is to make a custom 1/12 scale (or in her case full scale  ) Arrietty but also kind of want to experiment with some other things as well such as 3D printing parts and head sculpts and see what works.

While there are some guides to the 1/6 scale bodies a lot of them are out of date and in regards to the 1/12 scale bodies I can find even less up to date information. Far as I can tell in regards to the 1/12 scale bodies they go from T01 which was the initial release up to T04 which seems to be the most recent with 2 options for skintones being pale and suntan

T01 has a more toned body.

Not sure if there is much difference between T02 and T03 other than the head sculpt, both are less toned and muscular than the T01.

And as for T04 it seems to have a more plump fuller figure, though not seeing many reviews for them so far.

I also heard there are alternate brands like Jiaou but I can't really find a comprehensive guide on those, I have heard that they have a larger range of skin tones to the Phicen stuff but aren't quite as good quality a the Phicen stuff, and as far as I can see they only come in 1/6 scale.

Does anyone have any idea where to find a good guide on this sort of thing? Any alternate brands that might be worth checking out?
