That subplot has a lot of potential.

I don't have Hulu and I've only seen a few snippets online, but I've been looking at comments and discussions and there's a decent consensus that the Wall plot is the best part of the show. I'd go one further and say, despite not being objectively sexy (despite there actually being an actual sex scene between 2 tinies) that this is basically what Downsizing should have been all along.

Seriously, I can't explain without massive spoilers but some of the places this plot goes and the overall implications are as awesome and twisted as a size-based concept could get even without much or any interaction.

There’s a decent scene of a woman confused in a jar with the normal-sized aliens after the opening of Episode 3.
Yes, I loved how defiant the little benihana girl was inside her glass container, and how she then became afraid after a few seconds of being confronted with the giant faces talking high above her

So many missed interaction opportunities with these shrunken people. But other than that, this was an enjoyable, yet really short, season.

There's a significant side story of a bunch of shrunken people living in a wall that the aliens put them in. There's no interaction with normal size people but there's plenty of scenes of them using normal sized items. And some of the women are attractive by Rick & Morty standards.

Even without the shrinking it's a really good show, very similar to Rick & Morty.

I’m intrigued as a fan of Rick & Morty without the shrinking involved even

There is a new animated series from one of the Rick and Morty creators, Justin Roiland, with the same art style. As it can be seen in the trailer, many plots involve shrinking stuff, like the alien girl shrinking a school bully or the alien boy shrinking humans to put them in a hamster cage.
