Plus, when you have an animator named Ralph Bakshi (even though a lot of the art style still feels more like John K than anything else) to do work for a kid's show like Mighty Mouse, it's expected to happen.

But now I'm curious... what happened with Mighty Mouse?!
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mighty_Mo ... ontroversy

They spent all that money on a much better than average cartoon, and no one would show it because of lies about a three second scene and it's creator. Everyone who looked knew it wasn't true, but it didn't matter. Dumb hysteria and bullying ruled even in the 1980's.

Yeah I never pretended otherwise, it's a kid's show ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Thanks to Eddiegiantman again for spotting this in the wild. Two new animated episodes of Spiderman featuring shrinking, this time both Helen Stacy (mother of Gwen) and Hope in the second episode.

I uploaded the entire episodes:

Wow. Painful "Kids show" writing. Really dumb decisions by everyone. They do that to repel older kids and adults to prevent what happened to Bakshi's "Mighty Mouse". But it seems like a bad idea to have the same characters in such wildly different maturity levels.

So what happened to the shrink ray at the end of the first story? It looks like the kids swing off with it, when they should have given it to the mother. (Who would need it to enlarge the cars.).

Shrinking in a Barbie story. They don't shrink to Barbie scale, but noticeably smaller.
Which is... great, no? Hehe, sorry just love the smaller sizes. :D

They shrink her to Barbie scale, once:

Finally managed to capture the Barbie episode, but I've been copyright striked right away when I tried to upload it. I'll make some tweaks and give it another go. In the meantime, here are GIFs from the shrink and grab scenes...

I found some goodies
Drak Pack ep11, the female monster is shrunken down at 12:31
https://youtu.be/58Uny1-yfXY?si=i1xX_0uG5SRoVENu

Hoze Hounds , honey I shrunk the hounds, 14:21, 2 female characters are shrunk along with other characters (the one with glasses is female)
https://youtu.be/W_6vJlYXRTk?si=1LZHhFNRa-D3ntFT

My best find, Wunschpunsch, episode 47 (weirdly enough my lucky number lol), 9:20, wizards cast a spell that shrinks anyone that touches water, the first to shrink is a mother washing dishes, her daughter, then a couple other quick female shrinking in town. The best shrinking mother I've seen in western media

Just a short one I found today... nothing too special, but I'm glad the shrinking episodes are still a common trope for the next generation. ;)

V.I.P. Pets, Episode 8: "We Have a Tiny Problem"
"On the day of their graduation, Lexie and Hailey get into huge trouble when they take one of Fabio’s inventions and they become super tiny! How will they get out of this one on time?"

One more for the weekend, it's from HULK and the Agents of Smash, I tried as much to get just She-Hulk and yeah, it was a pain, it is also funny this one has a shrinking out of clothes sequence.

Thanks foreverlurk, hope you can find more off the radar SW episodes.

Meanwhile I will continue filling in with probably one of my favorite comic characters, The Wasp and Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes, most of these are from the first half of the first season, there are more SWish moments from her though. Her Avengers Assemble counterpart isn't the same.

I'll try to see Future Avengers just in case. Also Disk Wars but that one is hard to pin down.

Vimeo? Is it possible to Google Drive it?
My Google Drive is full, I'll have to clean it up. I use Vimeo because they are usually less aggressive than Youtube over copyrighted content.

Allright, instead of the whole episode I've made a cut with the size content, seems to work now:

Did they ever say how much shrunk the lead was? 2-3 inches?
According to the novelization, she's two inches tall.

I forgot how neat the shrinking sequence was in Epic.
Agreed, also the sense of scale from her tiny perspective was nicely done (ie. in her dad's house, riding the elk/birds).

With Wayyellow's incident leaving the thread half gone, I figured I help fill in some holes and in honor of the 10th anniversary earlier this summer, Epic.

Dunno if this helps.
Yes and no, I'm trying to grab the video, not screenshots. But I did find the culprit of the black screen - the "hardware acceleration" option. Once disabled, I can record my screen properly. I'll grab the episodes later tonight and post them here.
