The plot itself is pretty cringey. Dick Powell marries juvenile delinquent Debbie Reynolds to keep her from going to jail (don’t exactly know how that works). She’s 17 (Debbie was actually 21 or 22 at the time), he’s 35 (actually in his 50s, and looking all of it lol). Definitely a product of its time haha.
