What a classic. And, "for its time"... well I think it's still miles ahead of many recent SW shows as well:
* almost no green screen artifacts
* shadows and reflections are on point
* tiny size, not micro/insect (SW is visible in all shots)
* on-camera interactions with SW (no perspective / out of frame)
* nudity
Only thing missing is an actual shrinking process scene, and a proper handheld.
