Only a month after losing Charles Grodin, another member of the ISW cast passes away. Ned Beatty played Dan Beame, Vance's supervisor at the agency and the bad guys' inside man into the Kramer household. He often got Pat Kramer's first name wrong.
Besides ISW, he boasts an extensive filmography, including the sidekick Otis to Gene Hackman's Lex Luthor in the Christopher Reeve Superman movies, Bobby Trippe in his movie debut in Deliverance (the pig squealing scene), and the voice of villainous Lots-O'-Huggin' Bear in Toy Story 3.
