Good point on the rendering. I am not a tech-head but I could imagine that being streamlined over time. We went from achingly slow dial-up to streaming and smartphones in less than a decade.

I hear you, have you seen the SORA demos? It's just a glimpse of the future.

The only challenge will probably be the rendering time and costs, right now these short clips have taken 40 to 60 minutes to render. Of course there will also be censorship, not only for nudity/NSFW stuff.

I can't help but wonder how likely it is that, in 10 or 20 years, we'll be able to remake movies on our own, every day, with a new prompt. Or generate all sorts of movies full of shrinking or giants. I was concerned this generation wouldn't make another traditional KING KONG, but then, tech may allow us to just keep casting different actresses in Jessica Lange's role. Or others.
