I have been collaging for *ages* now, & I still cannot do shadows even remotely as good as you have achieved here. Keep up the awesome work!!!
Oh thank you, the shadows in the last 2 images are actually really simple, basically you add a drop shadow to the layer with the item that you want to cast the shadow then if you right click the drop shadow in the layer menu you can put it on it's own layer to edit separately.

The first image I kind of just fudged it with the burn tool though

Your works is excellent. I have no critique. The images match well in terms of resolution and lighting, they are cut out without any rough edges, and the blurring of the background is a useful technique. You rock, Queen!

Good work out the gate! Much better than I was when I started posting haha.

I would say less is more. Your shadows are in good positions and it looks like you are using a luminous layer for it which is good, but they appear much darker than i think the lighting would indicate.

Also you are running into the same problem I have with reflections. Again less is more, her reflection is brighter than the other reflections. She is also floating. You may need to have a layer for each leg.

That said, I like your composition and color matching seems very well done. Keep it up!

Hey, you are a Lot better than I was my first time out. Best thing to do is keep playing around on it, especially with lighting, color and other settings those helped me improve greatly :)

I don't have many critiques, you cut and paste well, you match the white balance and take care with shadows directions, so I would say, keep it up as you go... Maybe on the first one the blur on the background could be less because there is too much contrast on depth of field between both images but even that one is not that absurd...

These are all pretty good. In the first one, I would have done the girl’s shadow a bit differently, casting some of it on the fingers. Still looks believable the way you did it. And the second and third ones are excellent! :D

Keep practicing! These are brilliant, and I see no problems with them. Shadows and reflections are on point, and your light and color values are great. Keep it up, these are already fabulous and you'll just get better with time!
