Alex's Odessey

Later, Missy wanted Alex to dress up in a Disney princess costume but Alex just passively refused. Mrs. Reynolds dressed Alex when she saw Missy trying to remove her clothing and Missy tied a string to Alex's collar to make her walk around and interact with her other dolls. Alex's mind was slipping more and more as her hope for a normal life diminished day by day.

Mrs. Reynolds had to leave the house for a few hours for a business meeting, so she undressed Alex from the costume and have her a new outfit and left her in the dollhouse. Mr. Reynolds waited for about 15 minutes or so, then put away his work and went to the dollhouse. Seeing Alex dressed up in the doll skirt and blouse, he sneered, "So you're all dressed up. Planning on going somewhere? I really don't think I can allow that to happen." He reached into the dollhouse and even as his fingers curled around her tiny body, Alex didn't react as she used to. She just went limp, denying Mr. Reynolds the pleasure he got from her protesting and squirming. Mr. Reynolds was a little disappointed with this, but then he got an evil grin on his face.

Mr. Reynolds carried Alex into the garage where he took a bag off of a shelf then returned to the family room. He set Alex down on the floor and surrounded her with mousetraps. He laughed, "Squeak, squeak, SNAP !!" as he walked out of the room. She stood there afraid to move. She thought about tripping one of the traps with her blouse, but she knew the traps usually fly when snapped and if one struck her when triggered, it could kill her and one trap could hit another, setting off a chain reaction that could chop her to pieces. She was afraid to try to slide between the traps and just brushing the triggers could set them off. She considered throwing herself onto one of the traps to end her suffering at the hands of Mr. Reynolds, but she thought of Missy and how horrible Missy would feel if she were dead and this prevented her from killing herself. She was still lost in her thoughts when Mr. Reynolds returned about an hour later.....

Stripping off her clothes and hooking on her leash, Mr. Reynolds forced Alex to parade around on the desktop and perform tricks, such as "sit up and beg". Having already given up on returning to her old life and fearing being injured if she resisted, Alex complied with his commands. She just kept hoping Mrs. Reynolds would be home soon.

Mr. Reynolds then takes some string and binds Alex's wrists and legs and continues her torment.

Mr. Reynolds continues his abuse of Alex, trussing her up with dental floss. Alex has nearly completely shut down now, feeling totally helpless and hopeless. But then Mr. Reynolds hears the garage door start to open. He cuts Alex free of the floss and puts her back in the dollhouse.

The next morning, Mrs. Reynolds drops a handful of clothing on Alex's dollhouse bed. With a stern voice, she says "Get up and get dressed. You and me. We're heading out for the day." Alex, hearing the tone of her voice, quickly gets dressed. Mrs. Reynolds scoops her up and carries her into the kitchen and drops Alex in her purse, grabs her keys and walks out the door. Bouncing around in Mrs. Reynolds purse, Alex wonders what she has on her mind.

After a short ride in the car, Mrs. Reynolds went through a drivethru and bought some food. She parked in a secluded area of the parking lot and reached into her purse and retrieved Alex. She set her down on the center console and handed her a chicken nugget. Alex was still shaken from her abuse by Mr. Reynolds last night but her stomach forced her to nibble on the nugget. The two ladies ate in silence, but Alex felt something was different. As she had no choice in the matter, she decided just to roll with the flow and try to enjoy her time away from Mr. Reynolds and Missy.

After finishing their breakfast, Mrs. Reynolds drives out of the parking lot and continues for about an hour. Though she left Alex out of her purse, she was unable to see where they were going. She finally stops and reaches over to the passenger seat and picks up Alex and puts her in her purse again. Alex bounces around a little, can feel Mrs. Reynolds walking for a few minutes, then a suddenly decline in altitude which she can feel more astutely due to her size. She finally feels the purse being set down, but it takes Mrs. Reynolds a minute to extract Alex out of the purse and set her down on one of her sandals. Sunlight suddenly blinds Alex but when her vision clears, she can see they are at the beach. Alex has always loved the beach but hadn't been there for quite a while. She stands on the sandal while she is taking it all in, at her size, the immenseness of the beach and ocean are a bit overwhelming. Mrs. Reynolds has to give her a little nudge to step off the sandal and into the sand.

Alex steps off the sandal and onto the sand and walks a little ways onto the beach. There is no one else around other than she and Mrs. Reynolds. At first, it is peaceful. Other than the sound of a soft wind and the crash of the waves on the sand, there is no noise. Nearly feeling normal, she closes her eyes and leans her head back to feel the sun on her face. She had forgotten how it feels to simply lay in the sun on a beach. A loud buzzing pulls her out of her trance. A bumble bee the size of a cat buzzes past her, causing her to duck. A crab nearly as big as she scuttles by. A seagull as big as an airplane swoops down as if sizing her up as a snack. All these things that she never even paid attention to are now deadly monsters to her. She begins to panic and looks for a place to run and hide when Mrs. Reynolds hands come up from behind her and forms a shelter from the horrors of her new world. She runs to Mrs. Reynolds, and she is scooped up into the loving and protective giant hands of her......owner?

Even a butterfly can be terrifying to a five-inch-tall girl. Alex hugs Mrs. Reynolds thumb as she shoos away the flapping beast. She can feel Alex's trembling little body in her hand. Maybe this trip to the beach wasn't such a good idea. Alex may need something that will make her feel more secure, being so small in such a big world. Mrs. Reynolds put her hand in her pocket and felt the thin piece of material she had found in the trash. She knows what has been bothering her lately and can't believe she was stupid enough not to realize it.  "I just might have what she needs in mind." She thought to herself.

Shaken by her "close encounters" Alex refuses to leave Mrs. Reynolds hands. Mrs. Reynolds packs up everything and puts Alex back in her purse and leaves the beach.

Mrs. Reynolds carries Alex back to her car in her purse and leaving her there, takes a short drive then stops again. She picks up her purse and enters a building, but Alex can't see where she is going. After a couple minutes, Mrs. Reynolds pulls Alex out of her purse, but keeps her cupped in her hands. Alex is able to look around and realized they are in a PET STORE and Mrs. Reynolds is looking at small animal cages !!!

Arriving back at home, Mrs. Reynolds sets Alex down on the kitchen counter while she goes to check on the kids. Alex suddenly noticed that her cell phone is on and open. She can call someone to try to get some help.....but then she realizes that she doesn't know anyone's phone number !!! All her friends' numbers on in her phone's contacts list. Maybe she should call the police.....that might be worse. They probably would think she was just nuts and even if they came to the house, the Reynolds would just hide her somewhere. Still thinking of another option, Mrs. Reynolds abruptly enters the kitchen and picks up Alex and turns her phone off.

After stripping off her clothing, Mrs. Reynolds takes Alex to the bathroom for a hand bath.

After her bath, Mrs. Reynolds dressed Alex in baby doll outfit and let she and Missy play for a bit, then she put Alex on her desk and took Missy to bed. While she was unattended, Mr. Reynolds came in to harass her a bit. The hopes Alex was building for a better existence were quickly dashed by Mr. Reynolds fondling of her.

The next afternoon, a couple large packages arrive at the house. Mrs. Reynolds leaves Alex in the dollhouse while she takes the packages into her office. After an hour or so, she returns to the dollhouse and picks up Alex and carries her to her office. Alex stared at the aquarium with a lid, a doll bed, clothes rack, workout toy, Dixie cup (toilet) and a stuffy mouse. She felt instantly deflated. "So, this is it. I'm officially just a pet to her." Then Mr. Reynolds walks in the office.....

"What's this? A new home for the rodent?"
"Yes"
"I see it has a locking lid."
"Yes"
"Where's the key?"
"None of your business."
"Did that rodent say something about me?"
"She didn't have to."

Mrs. Reynolds took the ripped black dress Mr. Reynolds had torn off of Alex before and dropped it on the desk. He lowered his eyes and slunk out of the office. Alex suddenly realized that the habitat is not a prison but a fortress !!!! For the first time in days, she looked Mrs. Reynolds in the face and smiled.

Alex's realization of Mrs. Reynolds awareness of Mr. Reynolds abuses of her and now taking measures to protect her from him has raised Alex's spirits and their "relationship" is beginning to expand.  Instead of being just the submissive pet, Alex is starting to enjoy their time together and getting a little more playful during their interactions.

In a much better frame of mind, after a peaceful and uninterrupted night's sleep, Alex is happy to join Missy and Mrs. Reynolds as they pass a little time before Missy goes to school playing Disney Princesses. Although the Little Mermaid costume totally encloses her legs, Mrs. Reynolds keeps her in her palm, as she is unable to stand on her own. This brings back uneasy memories of when Mr. Reynolds tied her up and molested her, but her new faith in Mrs. Reynolds protectiveness helps her maintain her composure.

Mr. Reynolds had to go to the university, so he took Missy to school and Joey to preschool. Mrs. Reynolds liberated Alex from the mermaid outfit and to Alex's surprise didn't give her any clothes to wear. Mrs. Reynold just carried Alex naked out to the back patio with her cup of tea.

Mrs. Reynolds carried Alex outside to the back patio where she does her flower arrangements. Alex was confused why she didn't give her some clothes, but Mrs. Reynolds just set her down on the potting bench and set to work, paying little attention to her unless Alex wandered too close to the edge of the bench, then Mrs. Reynolds would just reach out and push her back towards the middle of the bench. Alex began to wonder is Mrs. Reynolds is just getting too contented with seeing Alex naked from bathing and dressing her, or is she beginning to drift further into "pet status".
