I'm not sure what it is you're after regarding AI. Is it a subject figure featured in an artist's work, or is it a background or part of the picture, or the entire work itself?

It is complex, and not always obvious. I'll look through dozens or hundreds of pics before settling on something that looks shrinkable. The model herself is most important. There needs to be something cute and vulnerable in the facial expression or pose. It can't just be your generic fashion model pose. That gets quite boring. Also technical things like full body, focus, lighting, can't use too wide a lens, can't be too hard to cut out, ext. Adding an extra term like "stock" to the search can drop the quality of results to nothing.

Finding backgrounds can be work too, but doesn't have the emotional baggage.

Yes, I get where you're coming from, and it can be a pain finding good hi-res character images that are suitable for cutting out. Thing is, I suspect you're unlikely to find stock images of the AI type imagery you'd want (stock providers usually feature themselves or other real life models etc), so searching for characters created with AI might be a lengthy process. If you like fantasy themed imagery there is one provider that springs to mind, but I've darned well forgotten his ID at the mo' (have to get back to you on that). Albeit he uses either himself or models to pose for him (but not AI creations).

Tigra used to be so fierce, so formidable. Now look at her. The others treat her like a pet... and she likes it! Shrunk or not, we are still valuable members of our team! Even she is. We deserve dignity.

The others at least remember us from when we were full sized. Thor is polite and fair in his own Asgardian way. But behind his eyes, I can see his lack of confidence in me. I'm tempted to leave the group, just to protect my sanity. I hate to admit it though - I wouldn't feel comfortable adventuring without some full-sized muscle around. And that wall of HIM is so... beyond me now. Does Tigra have the right idea? My remaining power is in my wits. I just don't think I can give that up.

The originals are AI pics. I used AI to make Tigra's legs and boots. To extend the backgrounds (of both pics), I used traditional Pixelmator methods, including the "healing brush". (Which I think counts as AI? But it wasn't controversial on release.). I also changed where both Dianas' were looking using traditional 2d tools.

Yesterday we were System's best agents. Today we are useless pint-sized jokes! And no one knows what happened! Well, System knows something, because they were really fast at retiring us! All our giant colleges don't even want to talk to us anymore. That hurts!

Poor Sam has it worse - I've always been female. And I relied on him for the heavy hitting. He's started "checking out" now. Glazed eyes. I have to take her hand and lead her around. Then he snaps out of it and starts crying and we hug. The hugs are very different now, but I still love them. Don't leave me Sam, you are all I have left!
