Yea, they changed the rules, and now it is... rather better, honestly.
You can also drag images to the text window. The old way to do it is still there, but doesn't work.

The old way is only "active" because otherwise all pictures uploaded with it would no longer show.
And I considered a ridiculous upload limit to be better than having content disappear.
