Squeaky Voice Stories
Hey all, returning real fast to ask if anyone knows good stories with alluring descriptions of squeaky or generally abnormal voices as a result of size difference? I'm making good progress on my story, but I've hit a bit of a snag regarding description. One can only use the phrases "high-pitched" and "squeaky cries" so many times, after all
Much appreciated!

I like this idea. You can't even talk without your own voice humiliating you.

Re: Squeaky Voice Stories
I don't know how that would work......when I hear a recording of my voice, it sounds nothing like my voice sounds to me. Hearing is based on the frequency of the sound waves entering the ear and vibrating off of the eardrum and ear bones, sending a signal to the brain so you "hear" in your brain. Maybe, with the smaller eardrum and ear bones of a tiny, her voice would sound normal to her, but higher pitched to a "big" ?

This is probably my favorite trope in shrinking-based stories docDocRick wrote: ↑Wed May 01, 2024 10:45 pmI don't know how that would work......when I hear a recording of my voice, it sounds nothing like my voice sounds to me. The physics are complex and could go either way. Not everything scales the same, (square cube rule) but applying that to sound could be compex. Also how your brain interprets signals would have to be different. When children grow up to become adults, they don't hear pitches change, but do notice their own voices being lower.
A sudden change in your voice pitch could result in stuttering and other speech difficulties as well. So many ordeals to be hit with as once.
Quivering
Feeble
Child-like
Meak
Quiet
Mousey
Trivial
Chirped
Meowed

Another thought is... since your lungs are smaller... you have to talk in... short bursts to inhale... and over enunciate... so that the bigs can... understand you! (gasp)
