Looking for a story about shrinking by smoking a vape of some sort

There was a group of girls in a car, and one of them reveals a cigarette or a vape of some sort scientifically engineered by a friend. They don't know what it does and they egg on one of the friends who hasn't smoked before to take a puff, wherein she coughs from lack of experience. The other two then use it when the girls realize the cigarette shrinks them.

I would think there would have to be someone else in the picture who doesn't partake in the vaping. The driver of the car, either an Uber or Taxi driver, or a fourth girl. Then, that person could either take advantage of the situation or be sympathetic to their plight and try to help them. If there is not a nonshrinking person present, the girls could have been parked somewhere when they shrunk and got trapped inside the car. The car gets towed to an impound lot and now they have to brave the big world to get home for help.

I remember a story based around this premise that I've thus far failed to find and I was originally hoping someone here would recognize it but I think this is definitely interesting and I'm intrigued to see which direction people take it in. What I do remember from the original is that there are a trio with a scientist friend who originally invented the device and asked them to try it out without knowing what it does. I also remember that the mood of the story was fairly friendly and that the effects do wear off and there's a lot of teasing around about height, such and such. If ya'll have ideas for stories though I'm certainly ready to see what you guys can write though
