Shrunken women board

Hi guys,

Currently in the process of working on a pic of Lara for collaging.....& I have run into a problem.

I could have sworn that I pasted the original picture onto a transparent background-as I usually do-but when I try to copy it into the final background, the white background is coming across too.

I was wondering if anyone could help me to fix this?

On my Final Cut software I could use green screen and eliminate that I think.

It would be fantastic if you could do that for me, Mac .

In Photoshop, create a transparent empty file, copy-paste this image on it, having 2 layers now, select all the white areas and cut, save it as a PNG...

Now overtime you open that PNG it will keep the holes and only Her figure will be pasted, showing any background you select
