"1, 2, 3!" Chocolate says, and both men make a quick slash of their knives, slicing the deer and killing it instantly. Somehow, the other deer didn't notice and remained somewhat close.

WHEW, that felt weirdly anime-esque. I then notice the other deer, "Um, is that one alright? I feel like it should have noticed us."

"Yeah, that's one way to put it... Maybe it's you're befriender skill kicking in after we've... Done the deed? I wipe my brow the back of my wrist slowly and put the sword away.
"You want to try or should I go ahead and see what my skill does to it?" I ask with a hint of eager curiosity.

"Knock yourself out: I'm kinda curious myself." I look over to Audrey, who's still holding Fluer, "You might have to do a bit more carrying, Audrey. That okay?"

What I don't mention is that, for some strange reason, seeing the shrunken Fluer is giving me... thoughts. I'm not sure what KINDS of thoughts, but something about the idea of holding a shrunken woman is... appealing to me...

I give Chocolate a thankful nod before hunching down and slowly making my way over to the deer, talking softly so as not to spook it.
"Hey there little deer, sorry about your friends, I promise it wasn't personal. I hope you don't mind but I want to try a little something"

As I get close enough I slowly stretch out my hand and focus on my tamer skill, attempting to tame the deer.

(Ahh drat, I thought we'd have taken longer walking here and messing around with the rabbits lol)

"Well drat, not recharged yet" I sigh in defeat dropping my hand and my head before retreating back to Chocolate.
"Well good news is it can be done, bad news it its gonna take over an hour for my MP to recharge to try it out and see what the results are.... So what should we do? Take these deer back and chill out for the night or sit around here waiting for my MP? I'm happy either way" I add with a smile, looking over at Fluer and Audrey.

I look around, noticing the sun's about to set, "It might be best to call it a day. I don't wanna risk this being one of those cases where powerful monsters come out at night."

"Yeah, great point l. Ain't no way I'm fighting any monsters like this. Plus, the woman at the guild promised the steaks were to die for!" I sit bolt upright startling the remaining deer. Getting to my feet I hoist one of the deer over my off-shoulder.
"Would you mind getting the other one Chocolate, and sorry Audrey, would you mind carrying Fluer on the way back too, just until we can turn all this into the guild and get settled in, I'll take her back then if that's alright?"

I pick up the remaining deer and follow Score's lead, heading back to the guild. Never had steak before, though now I'm hungry AND curious.

Your party returns to the guild, eager to enjoy this steak. Underscore and Chocolate present the two deer and the bag of rabbits, receiving a pile of silver coins in exchange. After doing so, you pickup a steak for a few of those silver coins and sit down with your companions to enjoy your meal.

"MMH. I think I still prefer chicken, but this stuff ain't half-bad." I look over at my party, all enjoying their fill. I'll admit, the killing part of all this may take some getting used to, but ending like this? This is nice.

"Yeah.. Mhm, can't beat some wings but this is... Mhm pretty good" I say between mouthful.
It was nice, just chilling out in this rowdy place. The idea of being trapped in another world was daunting, sure, but it wasn't all bad. I had Rio with me, newly acquired Fluer all 1ft of her, Audrey seemed nice albeit quiet and Chocolate was just a carefree, go with the flow sort of guy. Wonder what their relationship is...

"Hey so, if you don't mind my asking, what's the deal with you two? Like are you just friends traveling together or together, together or....?"

I look over at Audrey, thinking about the question, "To be honest, I'm not sure yet. Technically, she's my slave, but I'm not trying to treat her like one: feels kinda degrading, y'know? What do you wanna be, Audrey?"

"I'm... not sure Master. I can be whoever you want me to be."

"In that case, you can be my friend for now. Anything after that, we'll figure out together. How does that sound?" I give her a comforting smile.

"Okay master..." Audrey says.

You and your party sit in silence for a bit, enjoying the steak and the atmosphere.

"I'm glad we had this time to.... mhm... Eat and chill out but, and it must be the same for you, I'm absolutely shattered and cannot wait to hit the hay so I'm just gonna go get us a couple rooms for tonight and we can see what's on the quest board for tomorrow. Have a good night you two." I say as I sling my bag back over my shoulder, scoop up Fluer and make my way back over to the desk.

I sigh as I reach the desk, it wasn't so bad until I'd admitted it but the events of the day were catching up to me. I could feel legs tired from the walking, too used to being a shut-in, not to mention I still hadnt really sat and processed having Fluer. Something best kept behind closed doors.

Underscore asks for directions towards the nearest inn, and your party makes their way there. Score books a few rooms for a couple of silver coins. You all lay down in bed, ready to end the night.

As I lay down in bed, I look up at the ceiling. "What a day, what a DAY..." was all I could say before I passed out. No idea what tomorrow would bring...
