Underscore nods in agreement, "Yeah. What do you want to do?"

"Well, it's not dark yet. Maybe we could get a look around town? I'm not sure if either of us have gotten a good look at it yet..."

'Yeah, that's a great idea." Underscore responds. The pair take a look around the town, searching for anything of interest. You find the old blacksmith, where the adventure started, the market street with all the stores, and... magical items? That sounded interesting.

"Do you want to head to the magical items? I could do with something cool," Underscore comments.

"Sure! Though we may have to stick to the cheaper side, what with the inn and all..."

Underscore and Chocolate make their way into the store filled with the magical goods. Curious, the pair entered and was met with... a strangely normal appearance. It looked like the ordinary supermarket, with aisles filled out with products and the cashier just waiting at the back. The aisle titles read: Potions, skill scrolls, other magical items, etc.

"Skill scroll? That sounds interesting." I start heading towards that aisle.

I might take a lot more of a video game shop approach with this bit
Within that aisle was a variety of scrolls priced at different prices

5 X Fire manipulation - 50 GP
5 X Water manipulation - 50 GP
5 X Earth manipulation - 50 GP

1 X Shrinkage - 10 GP

I stop at the Shrinkage scroll. I know shrinking is sorta Score's thing, but something tells me it'd be a good idea if I had this, too. Besides, 10 GP seems cheap enough.

I take the scroll and head over to the clerk, "I'm interested in this scroll, please. Are you willing to sell?"

"Sure thing!" The shopkeeper said, "That'll just be 10 gold pieces."

(Wait, do I have 10 gold pieces? Just wanna make sure first, didn't think to check before...)

I hand over the 10 GP, "Thank you! Though if you don't mind, how exactly do I use the scroll? Do I just read it?"

As soon as chocolate opens the scroll to inspect it, a prompt appears. "Would you like to learn the skill "shrinkage?""
Without a moment's hesitation, he thumbs the yes button, and another prompt appears.

Shrinkage: Allows the user to use MP to temporarily reduce the size of a target, 5 MP for every order of magnitude, multiplied by 1 MP for every minute the skill takes effect.

The scroll dissolves once Chocolate opens it

"Well, that explains that." I head back towards the rest of my party, "Welp, I can shrink things now, too. This'll be fun, I bet."

Chocolate meets up with Underscore, who had decided not to purchase anything from the store. They leave the store, and are now back on the bustling street.

"Master? May I ask what did you purchase?" Audery asks

"Oh, I bought a spell scroll! It was a Shrinkage spell, had a feeling that'd be a good one to get. I'd show it to you, but admittedly I'm not sure what to use it on..."

"Oh... you could use it on me if you have nothing Master..." Audery offers, not truly understanding the effects of the skill.

"You sure? I'm not entirely sure how this spell works. Something about magnitude and minutes it lasts?" I look around the area, "Besides, it's a bit crowded out here. It'd probably be better to wait until we get back to the inn."

Underscore nods in agreement. "Don't want to draw too much unwanted attention."

"In that case, anything else you guys wanna do before it gets too late?"

"I don't have anything in mind, though we could walk around the village a bit more?"

"Sounds good. Always nice to stretch the legs every once in awhile."

(Sorry I've been out for a while, works been hell for the last few weeks. Will catch up with what's happened and be back ASAP)

Ayy, he's back!
Your party starts to wander around a bit more, leaving the alley and making your way to what looks to be a medieval food court. There are plenty of restaurants here, some of which look... questionable.

"I... don't think I'm in a daring mood for some of those..." I whisper to the group, looking at a meal that I swear has eyes that are looking straight at me...
