I love Dire Straits, their video "Money for Nothing" being the first video I saw when MTV first aired (and actually played non-stop music without all the BS of today), but real talent on the strings can only be displayed on a banjo.

Back in the day when we were still allowed to be cops, I was listening to old country music late one night when I spotted a stolen car. The driver saw me and took off and I started pursuing it. This song came on the radio, Foggy Mountain Breakdown by Earl Scruggs, the theme music from the movie "Bonnie and Clyde". It became one of the wildest car chases of my career.

The only Dire Straits I really enjoy is ""The Walk on Life" But Jesus H.Christ Doc, You really smacked it out of the park with Earl Scruggs.
Flatt & Scruggs, Bill Monroe & Roy Acuff... The Holy trinity of Blue Grass!
God Bless America!
