Two questions about Deviantart:

1) What is going on with InksGirls? Her(?) art is there, but her main page is gone. Is it a suspension? InksGirls is much less explicit than lots of stuff on Deviantart, so WtF?

2) I tried using DeviantArt's new AI art generator. My request was:
- "Worried Petite busty girl in a silk dress exploring an old dark castle"

The thing rejected it for having a banned term and threatened that I'd be suspended if I kept trying it. It didn't even tell me what word was banned!

I'm getting the impression that there is some kind of schizoid aspect to Deviantart, where they really can't seem to face what kind of site they are and why people go there.

Inkgirls is one of the few people I pay attention to on Twitter; yeah, they're suspended. Again. Again again. For whatever reason they get hit a lot.

I've always been of the understanding that DA is a broad church for all kinds of visual art, and not just for the weird sort of fantasies that appeal to the likes of us. And the fact that they do cater for minority tastes like our own is perhaps something we should be pleased about, don't you think?

InksGirls is quite tame. Certainly tamer then what Bobvan just posted. Also, Pixiv is tamer then Deviantart, but InksGirls doesn't get trouble from them. I think someone at DeviantArt is just a bully, who fixates on certain creators and dumps on anything they do.

This is just a theory, but InksGirls had a hater (a trans person who also does drawings) that was hell-bent (and I really mean hell-bent) on destroying her(?). This is just a guess, but the hater finally got to DeviantArt's moderators and got InksGirls banned or something

That sounds possible.

InksGirls at one point had to pull drawings of Lina Inverse and Amelia, supposedly due to them being under age in the anime, (which isn't clearly stated.) but right now there is a pic of Asuka Langley on the main page. There are some really awful people out there.

DA has always had a very strange Double Standard. I remember back when Jitensha was getting Suspened every other month. It mostly seems to be Anime Style stuff that gets people suspended, I say that because you can post a photo of a Penis on DA but anime style drawings of Penises seem to be Banned, yet Disney style is allowed, thing is what most people consider Anime Style is based of Disney stlye... Though Ink probably does have someone targeting them, they mentioned it on Twitter a while back, also they were on Twitter before DA and well... there has been mass amounts of Drama about Lolita and Petite body type Anime girls on Twitter. Some of it seems to now be showing up in Comment Sections on DA. Some of these "Anti's" as many communities have started calling this seemingly more advance form of Hater, will even Stalk artist and try to find them in Real life so they can go Harrass them.

I too have been targeted by haters, had deviations removed temp banning in the early days. All big sites do this. Penalize some and let others go. I had this experience with YouTube as well. There's plenty of Pornish material on YouTube. I had a Fickr account ( who apparently have filters for Explicit content) shut down. Hate to break it you Prof. But I have had my fare share as well.

Well if it makes any of you feel better. I am on Buy Me A Coffee because when I tried to set up on Patron they told me they didn't want producers of erotic material on their site. I really didn't have the heart to tell them.

Exactly shit happens. America; all the violence to spare but anything sexual oh boy! I like to post this type of pic to what then was redirection to my Flickr site which eventually went down. Hahahaha I listen to Sons of Anarchy review podcasts with Kim Coates & Theo Rossi on youtube. They just made the point, you can show ripping intestines out of somebody and wearing it as a scarf but if a couple are in bed or showing genitalia is a no no.

I think your "girls" make your point very well!

Your version of Deanna is quite convincing for a render too. The clothing especially is pretty good.

These are my only offerings on the LOTG theme thus far (but if it doesn't fit in with the spirit of the thread I'll remove them).

In this one we might imagine Deanna saying..

"This new set is fantastic!" says Deanna, waiting for her cue "Everything is so amazingly realistic."

"And how come everyone looks so BIG now.. are you all holograms?!!

LOL thanks. That was the older Deanna model. I have been able to face generate a better version a while back. I have been at this since 2009. There have been changes in techniques, posing , lighting, render engines ect. Im also going nuts uploading a Sh*t load of renders not quite the full stories but chapters.

Yes I see what you mean, the textures are more subtle in the later ones. She's certainly come in for some boob and bottom therapy too I notice! (which is not untypical of the preferences of male render artists lol!)

There was apparently a season 3 that was scrapped when Fox decided to put the $$ into making Cleopatra in lieu. I would gladly produce S3 if I had scripts. With my twist of course

Yes it was about you catching Deanna's attention I was hoping to reply to (had to go out shopping). You mentioned her becoming religious and not caring much for her earlier glamorous publicity shots wearing a bikini etc, but I'm sure she appreciated the work you put into portraying the character she played back then. It was after all a fictional role she had and she'd know how popular it was with fans, so I don't think for one minute she'd be upset about it. Any artiste has to be flattered by fan art I would have thought, even if it's a different take on a character they played (inc' some nudity, big boobs, and all that goes with it).

Hey, I'm even privileged to have been rendered myself on occasions, by my friend "Who" of many titles (and I'm not even remotely famous lol!).
But I regard it as good fun and a compliment as I'm sure Deanna did as well. (think he titled this one, Sally's pub).

I did complete 5 or 6 episodes plus the Double Impact spinoff. Various 1 offs different stories like the doll milf. Hybrid collages ect.

Mentioning religion in the context you did was fine in my book (it just helped explain the narrative).

Folks seems to get so paranoid on these forums at times it often makes me smile, and yet we're all supposed to be adults (well at least most of are hopefully).
