So the main four actors for RWBY havd been posting teaser images for Volume 9, and the one for Ruby herself had a "little" something that I thought we'd like:

Ruby offers to play a game with him, and with certain game pieces gone, the Prince shrinks the three to become her pawns. At the time of their shrinkage, we hear their voices pitched higher when they land on the board, but it changed to normal pitch later on (inconsistency issues), and anything around them is louder than usual. We get a nice mid-episode song to play with the eventually-all-out brawl between the pawns and the three, until the Prince throws a fit and tosses them off. We also get a handheld scene, showing two shots of them in Ruby's hands, with the mouse to compare. Ruby gets saved by

and escape the castle. The three stay small for the next episode.

Weiss is my fav, followed by Yang. I prefer the original Weiss design, though... but I now have Pocket Weiss to make up for it! She's thrilled...

I doubt we'll get it, but I'm holding out hope for Pocket Neo. She's petite as it is.

It's actually better than the screenshots, but I'm not a fan of this type of animation / cell shading. Is there more SW content, ie. do they get back to normal right away, or do they stay tiny for a couple episodes?

This is the current episode and they are still tiny, maybe they go back to normal next week no clue. Just have to wait a week to see.

Sorry, I'm trying to avoid unofficial viewing methods on this one per request of the showrunners: the show hasn't been renewed for a new season yet, and given a bunch of IRL stuff going on at both Rooster Teeth AND Warner Bros. (RT's parent company), I'm not sure I wanna take any risks...

Legally, there is right now only the option to get a crunchryroll subscription.

I think it is likely that in a year or so it will be available on rooster teeths own platform for free again.
(And who knows, they might decide to upload stuff to youtube again in the future)

I understand that, I was mostly interested in the SW scenes not the whole series. But I did manage to find it on my own, and there's a few cute scenes and I love that they didn't get the growth potion at the end.

Yes I had a look but I'm always wary about streaming services. I don't know about other countries outside of the US, but in Canada we often get a really trimmed down catalogue of movies & series, and all the VPNs that used to work are now blocked. So many times people are saying "watch it on Hulu, or on HBO, or Prime", but here in Canada the show is blocked.

So they make the "legal" way really hard and frustrating.
