A woman wakes up shrunken out of her clothes and desperately tries to get the attention of her boyfriend. He can only see her as a cockroach so it turns into a race for survival. Even in its short run time, this is one of the best pieces of shrunken woman media ever produced. I’m sure everyone here has seen it, but thought it deserved to be included here. Any excuse to watch it again, right?

FYI it's very loosely based on Franz Kafka's The Metamorphosis.

It's one of my favorite SW moment, across all media. The only thing that would be better is (of course) seeing her shrink into her clothes, and if it had a bigger production budget, with state of the art animation, coloring and quality.

If anyone remembers the manga of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Part 6: Stone Ocean, where Jolyne gets shrunk, there's going to be an anime adaption of the story coming next month to Netflix. And in the OP here (at 0:22), as well as the chapter itself which will be in anime form, it shows our heroine shrunk! Check it out!

Sadly it appears to be a 'poof shrink' type thing. The Formaggio/Little Feet one was slow shrinking, but unfortunately he only shrank a guy in that one episode. One day they'll get it together. Either way, I hope the upcoming Netflix series is a success.

I actually really love the animation style and how sketchy it is, it brings out so much character in the girl and the environment. Especially when it gets to the chase sequences and the animation becomes incredibly fluid. I'd love to see more shrinking stuff done in this style. Also other thing, I love how it makes great use of "tasteful nudity", the nakedness is never acknowledged, it's just treated as part of her natural state, and it makes it all the more appealing.

Has anyone been able to watch the Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Stone Ocean yet? Curious what the shrinking scenes are like.

I saw it on a bootleg site and I didn't think it was special, but to be fair, I have fairly specific tastes and I'm hard to please. She's just tiny, there's no shrinking process or anything like that. The animation artwork is pretty good, so your milage may vary.
