A new episode of the Disney TV series Elena of Avalor features the titular character among others shrunk to a tiny size. In one scene, a guy rescues a palm sized Elena and other shrunken woman by catching them in the air, and then he carries the tiny women in his shoulders.

Nice!
Only wish they had shown the actual shrinking, and that those handhelds lasted more than .03 seconds.

Also, the latest episode "Heart of the Jaguar" has an Alice in Wonderland theme, featuring a cute shrinking sequence of the "shrinking spurt" kind. She ends up mouse sized and rides a guinea pig:
