It is for kids and toy marketing after all. But, it's just the first episode of season 2. We might run into better stuff next episode or so later.

I know season 2 wasn't great compared to the first, but season 3 could have some good episodes. Can't watch them from Canada, I don't know if anyone can right now as it seems the season hasn't even been officially announced yet:

However, Netflix ultimately has the rights for the streaming rights for S2/3 I think and last year, they all came out in November?

Yeah. We're still getting clips from those seasons on YouTube. And unfortunately, still no Grande villain family.

Yeah I've managed to see a couple of episodes from S3 and S4, it's just not as good since there's no Grande.

Hopefully the live-action movie will feature some kind of size interaction (or maybe the Barbie movie?)

Despite the title "Incredible Shrinking Dad", it's actually about the family who now know about the size-change locket. The crux of the episode is the parents being concerned about how dangerous shrinking can get and trying to limit Polly's use of it. She invites them to try being tiny for a while to show she can control everything. Shenanigans ensue.

The title comes from the dad accidentally shrinking himself smaller than everyone and getting lost, but there's some pretty good scenes with Polly and her mom - traveling across a thick rug, almost getting vacuumed, dialing a giant phone.

The thing that amazed me most is, despite the general cartoony-ness and everything played for laughs, they throw in some weirdly heavy stuff: the parents are scared of how powerful the locket is; the dad keeps shrinking until he's the size of a molecule (yet his cellphone still works); the episode ends with the parents *traumatized* by the experience.

God this show is nuts.

I really miss the villains from season one...

Oh wow. The carpet scene was really cute.
Of course the dad would be the butt of the shrinking to nearly nothing joke and not the mom or some other girl.:/

Give it a few years and we'll see this show quoted in threads talking about "When did you discover you had a size fetish".

And we likely still aren't done it seems, new season might be in production plus the live action movie in the cards.
