What a blast from the past... I remember casually watching that episode with my family when it aired, that shrinking sequence out of nowhere had me so uncomfortable lol.

A tiny bard and a giant food fight! Too bad (once again!) there's no real interactions between beans & borrower, though some of the giant props were nice. The only thing to satisfy fans since has been Sally Reynolds/SallyFourth's fanfic "Xena: Warrior (doll?) Princess", which finished incomplete (I think) at 6 chapters. It did end on a great note, though, as Gabby is given a sexy bath by a "giant". (Sigh) Another fanfic that would be so nice to be finished by someone...

I wonder how they did that voice. It sounds much more natural - not like the usual sped-up electronic pitching that I often hear.

Sally still has a semi-active page on DeviantArt. You can read the Xena story here - https://www.deviantart.com/sallyfourth/gallery?q=xena. She added a couple new chapters last fall.

I was disappointed that he didn't shrink her to half size like the horse. She even said "who's small enough to ride this horse?" which I had hoped would mean he'd make he a comparable size.

It was still good though

I think the point was to make her smaller then the horse to mock her that the horse is too big for her to ride now.

sounds like some of you are mixing up the fanfic with the episode. Is the episode more than this clip?
