Yeah kinda sad we don't get to *see* their actual shrinking, but the group of tiny girls in the glass cage is nice.

BTW if you know of more shrinking scenes in anime (like, even if it doesn't involve "process" or handhelds/grabs), please share. Thanks!

To Love-Ru Darkness 2nd - OVA 3

While visiting Haruna, Rito accidentally steps on another of Lala's inventions, which shrinks him and Haruna out of their clothes. They put on tissues to wear while they have to wait an hour for the effect to wear off. Haruna's parents suddenly arrive to visit, so Lala disguises herself as Haruna to keep them busy. Haruna gets embarrassed over them talking about love stuff, which causes her and Rito to fall off the bed and into another uncomfortable situation. They then have to hide in her panties to avoid her dog Maron, for fear that he would lick her like crazy at this size. Rito tries to leave to distract him, but she stops him, causing them to fall over and accidentally kiss for the first time.

This is also one of my earliest discovering and favourite SW moments. It's short, simple, but effective, plus with that To Love-Ru ecchiness added in. There's a SM chapter early in the manga, and both manga and anime have had various episodes of characters getting small through various means, turning into animals, babies, inanimate objects, etc., but this is the only true SW. Also, it's a cool bonus that a shrinking moment like this leads to a pretty big "plot/character" development, even for a series like this.

I remember that series a long time ago. There are so many books of literally every type of fairy in there. Idk if it's still going on though. But this anime, it's really sad that it didn't get a full series. Cause there's a lot of good potential in this.

There's a lot of episodes where she shrinks alongside the rest of the gang (either with the Size Tunnel, or the Little Light), I don't have the list on hand because there are so many episodes.

In the movie "Nobita's Little Space War" (the 1985 version, not the remake), Shizuka heats up some milk which she pours into her dollhouse's bath, then shrinks herself with the Little Light to get inside and take a milk bath. She is then captured by the aliens while she's tiny.

The 5th episode of Gushing Over Magical Girls has a part with shrinking in it...it isn't much, but it's a series that focuses on the villians, the Enormita, torturing the magical girls, Tres Magia, with various mature themes.

This episode introduces a 3rd member of the villainess team, Neroalice aka Korisu Morino, who's Alice in Wonderland-like outfit gives her the power to manipulate toys in various ways, such as trapping victims in doll houses or making stuffed toys giant. While the episode doesn't explore the shrinking fetish yet, it was hinted in the final moments of the episode, when Kiwi asked Korisu to make Utena pretend she's a baby (shrinking involved, of course) but it was backfired when Korisu shrank Utena into a doll prison.

Here's a couple shots, which are mostly perspective shots, but it gets the hint.

And yes, this series is erotic as fuck with a bunch of scenes of fetishes like breastfeeding and the hentai trope of tentacles.

To be fair, it seems like a relatively obscure series. It was out on DVD in 2003 and I think has only been making the rounds on Youtube since the 2010's so I don't know that's something you'd naturally come across unless you were actively searching for it. I actually managed to find a copy in the wild but it was from one of those small chain video/DVD stores that carries specialty stuff (I never went there before but I was hellbent on finding it when I learned about it from Min's review page - I've realized it was more of a miracle than I thought that I found it at all).
