Episode #2 had a scene with Utena creating a giant candle monster to give one of the Magical Girls (Kaoruko Tenkawa = Magia Sulfur) a hot wax torture session.

There was an episode from the week before last that had a giantess squeezing the two girls between her boobs.

Lafanpan the fairy is a major character in the manga-based anime Handyman Saito in Another World.

Primas is another fairy with one of them tragic backstories who loses her wings and ends up as just another tiny person.

There's no real SW in the manga, but Dungeon Meshi as some nice sizey stuff in the intro and outro segments of the anime.

In the new outro we see an elf holding what appears to be a fairy:

Train to the End of the World, Ep 5 (airing on Crunchyroll)

The main characters visit a town that was shrunk by the weird disaster the show is based around, known as 7G, and was taken over. The most important character in that town was this red-headed scientist. This episode is the 2nd of a two-parter. She investigates the giant character that was feeling ill after the shroom was pulled out of her ass, which resulted in the girl's personality changes.

And yes, she comes out of the girl's skirt after examining the area in question.

I re-read that sentence a few times and it still doesn't make any sense.

Are there any worthwhile shrinking or interaction scenes?

Oh yeah, there is interactions. But no shrinking.

I saw in the comments of that episode that they want to see a spinoff with her, making the journey through the wild lands throughout Japan, which I want to see as well. A Land of the Giants-esque series.

As for what I meant, one of the main characters has a mushroom growing out of her ass from their first stop in episode 3. She hid it for a couple episodes until the reveal in episode 4, where they removed it and needed to find a doctor to fix her. That's when they stopped at the train station with the minuscule-sized city to find one.

Also, after watching the episodes prior, this is the story (source: Wikipedia):

After the disastrous launch of an experimental 7G cellular network warps reality itself, Japan is left devastated with civilization collapsing and being reduced to scattered, isolated settlements. In addition, the 7G Incident has created strange phenomena and affected the surviving population in various ways, such as transforming the residents of Agano into intelligent animals once they reach the age of 21. Two years after the 7G Incident, young student and Agano resident Shizuru Chikura comes across evidence that her missing friend and classmate Yoka Nakatomi is actually alive and well in Ikebukuro. With the warped landscape too dangerous to travel on foot, Shizuru and her friends commandeer an abandoned passenger train with the intent to follow the rail line to Ikebukuro and reunite with Yoka.
