I used to like that cartoon a lot. It also has a Kong episode with Pac-Man growing large and becoming Kong-like and grabbing the Pink Pac girl.

Well, we didn't get any SW action in the Barbie movie, but a new Netflix series might have a few nice scenes!

Barbie: A Touch of Magic will start streaming this Thursday, episode 10 is called "Tiny Problems":

"Rocki tricks Skipper into auditioning for a reality TV show in order to steal Peggy. Barbie and Barbie are shrunk to tiny sizes and must escape Tiger to warn Skipper."

It's cute and well done as an animation but pretty sure it's gonna be G rated. I would prefer it being done with live actors.

Well, we're talking Western animation here... so of course it's gonna be rated G. It's not anime.

IMHO what makes the new one better than Life in the Dreamhouse is that the shrinking is not "accidental" - it's used against them by the antagonist with her magic. And I'm a sucker for grabs and handhelds, so there you go.

If you view my work, you will discover "giant" hands in nearly every one. I just prefer "real" tinies to CGI or AI or any type of animated tinies. But just my preferences. It is nice to have a variety of art styles for everyone to enjoy what they like.

So the episode is out and since I have Netflix, saw it. Not bad, has a quick shrink sequence but the only handheld scene is the one in the promo picture, the 2 Barbies are stuck in the model house almost the whole episode and the only things they interact with are vs. The giant Duck and a cell phone to call Barbies sister twice.

Wcostream isn't picking up this series yet. Looks like I'm gonna be waiting long.

BTW for completeness' sake it's not the only time she uses her size-changing magic :

Ep. #2 - shrinks herself at the end of the episode to use the dollhouse as a real house
Ep. #3 - wakes up tiny in the dollhouse, gets big again just in time as someone is coming
Ep. #5 - she shrinks the magic unicorn, then tries to grab it
Ep. #9 - again, waking up tiny, then restoring her normal size
