Elizabeth creates a shrink ray and gives it to Garth to shrink school equipment to bring to her secret lab. Dina ends up discovering this and is shrunken by Garth. He covers her in a cardboard box, but she manages to escape, and makes it to the science lab before they can capture her. With it locked for the day, they block the bottom of the door with their sweater, trapping Dina in the lab overnight. The next morning she tries to get Toby's attention to no avail, but then manages to send him a text message on Garth's phone. After class he sees the message and rescues her before Elizabeth's group gets to her. He then creates his own ray to grow her back to normal size.

Honey I Shrunk The Kids: The TV Show - Episodes 1, 5, and 65

One of the crowning jewels of shrinking media got a TV series, which sadly was way too light in terms of shrinking content, only 3 episodes with shrinking as the focus, and I believe only 2 or 3 other episodes that involve someone being shrunk.

In the pilot, "Honey, We've Been Swallowed By Grandpa", Amy, Wayne, and Diana are accidentally shrunk to bug size while in their van. While trying to send a message to Nick, they end up falling into a drink and are swallowed by their Grandpa. Now they need to try and escape the insides of their Grandpa before the shrinking effect wears out. Follows the typical Fantastic Voyage-esque structure of travelling through the body and fighting off the cells, before eventually getting Nick's help to safely escape.

In "Honey, I Shrunk The Science Dude", Wayne and his brother Randy accidentally shrink while stopped at a McDonald's. Through schenanigans they end up in a little boy's Happy Meal and need to try and escape while the rest of the family tries to find and rescue them. At the end of the episode, after being restored to size, the family's confronted by the boy's confused mother, who herself ends up getting accidentally shrunken by her son.

In the finale, "Honey, I Shrink Therefore I Am", the shrink ray unknowingly goes out of control, resulting in Amy getting shrunk. Soon her boyfriend Jack, and then Wayne, also fall victim to the ray, and need to work together in order to reach the ray, fix it, and return to normal size. Wayne successfully does so using a miniature flying machine. In the end after everyone's reconciled, the shrink ray goes off once again, leaving everyone shrunk.

Amy shrinking in the final episode was one of the first big, and still overall one of my favourite, SW moments I remember always going to back to rewatch after discovering it.

Amy shrinking in the final episode was one of the first big, and still overall one of my favourite, SW moments I remember always going to back to rewatch after discovering it.

Indeed, I remember watching the episode with my family and it was a very... uncomfortable experience to say the least.

There's another SW episode in Charmed, season 7 episode 17 called "Scry Hard".

Strange Days at Blake Holsey High - Episode 13

While feeling self-conscious about her short height, Josie is suddenly shrunken down to an even smaller size. She eventually gets the attention from her friends, however still feeling uncomfortable about her size, she disappears. The mysterious janitor tells her she's been shrunken for a reason and to take advantage of it, hiding in the pocket of the school's scheming benefactor, and learning about plans to investigate the school. She uses an answering machine to expose one of the plots, and is suddenly brought back to normal size.
