Li'l Abner by Al Capp had some story arcs featuring shrinking, including this Sunday comic with Fearless Fosdick, a Dick Tracy parody used as a comic-within a comic:

I've had a look and yes there's more. The original print was 1959, with several reprints in the next decade, including this one in colour.

There's a lot of SM, only grabbed those I could find with SW. In this sequence, everyone on Earth has been shrunk except a boy and his chicken.
