honestly, just watch the shrunken people scenes from Bad Channels and Dollman on YouTube--the movies are visual vomit and the enlarged setpieces in DvDT are some of the worst I've ever seen.

there is one great scene in downsizing, the tiny lady from the reunion is standing on a table talking to her full size friends.. (attached) the blonde lady on the couch looks like she in particular wouldn't mind snatching up her tiny friend while no one is looking and slipping her into her purse.. would've at least made a nice alt story line.

I dunno not trying to be cruel here but the fact that you have to pick out what is essentially a 5 second clip where nothing happens that merely shows a shrunken person and big people in the same clip kind of speaks to how starved we are for shrinking and size related content.

Not saying that the movie had to be a degenerate sex romp that catered to the sexual fantasies of macro and microphiles but for most of the movie you would have no idea that these were shrunken people as most of the scenes take place in locations that just look like regular sized locations with regular sized people, there are very few scenes where the big and little people are even in the same scene and none to my memory where they actually physically interact.

I just expect more size related content in a size related movie.

Well said, and I agree. I think you pretty much nail it when you say how starved we are of size related content, that we'll accept any morsel. I said much the same myself on another thread.
