It is an interesting point of view and a bit of a spoiler for the fantasy. I saw a documentary a long time ago about giant creatures in movies, but it was from a scientific standpoint telling how it couldn't happen, mainly showing the effects of gravity on a mammal or insect suddenly becoming giant. Just another buzz kill if you take yourself too seriously.

Oh, "Jolie Ténèbres", I didn't even knew it had been translated! Excellent, got this one when it came out.
