I haven't really kept up so I didn't realize this was so recent.
I did some digging for the heck of it:

In the comics, the other 2 are alive (or at least just Kate is confirmed), but (male) Rae is still presumably dead. However, the death scene for both involves them being swallowed by the villain Komodo Dragon then attempting to grow back but his skin was too tough to break through. Komodo himself gets killed soon after. Basically it's offscreen and y'know what they say: "no body, no proof." In short, don't keep hopes too high but don't write her off just yet either.

Bad news is looks like she's going to be hospitalized for an undefined amount of time.
