I'm not sure where to ask, so I'll start here:
Is there a post featuring community rules or a reference that the admins use to determine which threads to close or take down? I found the one in the registration agreement, but is there a more specific one?

Following the law is all really required.
Now laws have the nasty habit of being different. So to be on the safe side also act like a decent human being.
And as I very much believe in freedom of speech that is about all required.
