My "w" letter looks a bit odd.

If you have difficulties with one of the board functions, this is the place to talk about it.
And if you are lucky someone can help you too ;)

My "w" letter looks a bit odd.

How is the letter "w" appearing to you on the board text? Is it kind of wonky and weak looking like mine are?

Or is it just me?

If it is just me, I will feel deprived by not having a fit and healthy w

Thanks Oz. I'll look into that. Might have to google how to do it though.

Simple press "print" on your keyboard, than open a pic-viewer like Paint, IrfanView or something like photoshop.
Press "ctrl" and "v" (ctrl+v) to insert the screenshot, than save the pic, thats all. ;)

I hope this works Oz.

This is a snip of how the "w" appears to me (it's only on this forum it happens btw)

As the capture looked bigger I played around with the zoom.
When I get to 120% the 'w' look exactly like in your screenshot..but they look normal at any other zoom level
(well at 130% everything looks like it uses bold..but that is a different problem)

I thougt it can be solved with this:
https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00032393/
But when your problem is only on this board, than maybe this won't solved your problem... :?

Thanks Elana and Shrinkmaster (I did Clear type check via the link, thank you).

I've noticed no difference in my "w" yet.

Testing: I'll just try an experiment in the next line and see if that pesky "w" looks any different.

willy wonka (non capital letter "w", and no change)

Willy Wonka (Ha! capital letter "W" seem a little better, or is it just my wonky eyesight)

willy wonka (non capital but bold, but I'll only know if there's a difference when I post)

Thanks again. Btw Elana, thinking back, I think I had this problem on SW Realm as well.

Well bold type certainly cures the problem.

Anyway, it isn't a big deal and it's something I can live with. No doubt I'll find the solution eventually.

Thanks folks. :)

Elana, It is the zoom that's been the problem. Thanks!

I checked and I was bang on 120%, and now I've zoomed up slightly to 133% my "w" is fit and healthy looking again (below 120 is all good too)

Happy "w" days! :)
