Small Cast: Sandi's Trials

So this is something I've been thinking about doing for a while now. Taking some inspiration from another thread, I thought it would be fun to make fancastings for various SW stories. I'll list my choices for each character and depending on how things go I'll make images from the results. To start things off is one of my favorite stories; Sandi's Trials by Minimizer. When it comes to Sandi, I think she needs to be played by someone with an endearing presence and a good sense of wit. So here are my choices:

I like those castings. Emma Stone in particular is a pretty inspired choice! I would also suggest Alexandra Daddario (although I'm admittedly biased towards wanting to see her shrink in any role lol), but you can't deny that she wouldn't look good wearing Sandi's magician's assistant outfit! Just put a blonde wig on her and your good to go

Actually I do have a role in mind for Alexandra; either for Sandi's Trials or another Minimizer story...though I have to agree having Daddario in any role would get no complaints from me.

Any of those would be great, although like Kooplan said, I'd like to see a tiny Alexandra no matter what the story is...too bad she didn't get cast for "Polly Pocket"). I would also like to suggest Jodie Comer (Molotov Girl from "Free Guy") as Sandi. She is remarkably luscious.

Although you didn't mention SW Casino, I always thought Carla Gugino would be great for that story (remember I wrote the story 20+ years ago so she was a lot younger then). Morena Baccarin or Catherine Zeta-Jones would also be good choices, but again, all of them would look great tiny no matter the story.

My impression was that Sandi was blonde, young (20s), and ambitious. The actress would also have to rock the short haircut. So....

All of these ideas and insights are good. Honestly I wasn't considering age in my choices. I think Sandi can be either in her 20's or 30's and it would work, but that's just me.

Right now, Angela's the one I'm having a hard time figuring out.

I have my choices for Angela. Like I said, it was tricky to come up with choices for Angela and the ones I came up could lead to some interesting scenarios when paired with Sandi.

Haven’t posted in quite a while, but this one intrigued me as Minimizer’s site was a major awakening for me where I realized I wasn’t alone in having this particular fetish. So here’s my fa casting for all the women of his major comics when I first discovered the site.

SANDI’S TRIALS 1-4
For Sandi, I’d pick Mary Elizabeth Winstead. She pulls off red hair well, she’s curvy and I’m not above admitting bias for my favorite actress.


For Dawn, the most recurring woman in the ST series besides our girl, I went with Kat Dennings who would totally shrink herself just for fun.



Angela, I think I’d cast Demetria Obilor, a newscaster from Las Vegas.


Rita and Danielle from ST 4, (who I would have in the background of previous entries so we could see them in the magician’s assistant outfits just a bit) would be Meredith Hagner and Halston Sage respectively. Kind of interchangeable blondes, but both beautiful and charming enough to stand out on their own.





THE DIVE
Melanie
Given that the cast of The Dive consists of a shrunken woman, a giant hand and a cat, I think we can splurge. So Scarlett Johansson it is!



THREE WISHES
For our favorite shrinking theif, Kyra, I chose Kaya Scoledario. That her name is just one letter off from Kyra is kind of fun.



And for Min’s recurring fairy, Corporal Silvia, Jane Douglas of Outside Xbox will be stepping into the role.




These last two I feel don’t get the respect they deserve, so I’d like to show them some love. That they were based on on actual people (Wannashrink and Sammi, whom I do not know), I did my best based on the material.

SASHA’S REDUCING PROGRAM
Sasha, Min’s resident fitness girl, I decided on Hailee Steinfeld. Hailee I think could portray that just-under the surface insecurity that would cause her to play around with an experimental computer program.



THE COSTUME PARTY
Closing out this irritatingly long entry, we have the bunny-girl costume clad protagonist of my personal favorite Minimizer comic, Sammi. This one was difficult for me as I think few other characters quite portrayed both the fear and resourcefulness of being suddenly shrunken as she did. Ultimately I went with Camila Mendes, who can play both confident and in over head.

I know. It's very difficult to find enough pictures of the same model(s) with different expressions to make anything work. My first one, I only had three face shots of my model so most of the pictures had to be from behind. The next one and the current one I found a bunch of good pictures of my models before I started. Made life so much easier.

I'm glad you've enjoyed this. As much as I would like to make I would like to make accurate pics of these castings, that may not be possible. The best thing I can do is make images than are more homages than straight on adaptions. The only other way I think of making accurate pics is making renders, but I'm not familiar with that kind of image making.

So I did make some images based on my casting. Mind you I had to use AI to make the model and put it together with a stock image. Anyways I hope you like and I may try to make a few more if I have the time.
