Giant Robotic Hands?

I feel like the technology is there to have rooms or warehouses where you can strap on gloves with sensors that correspond to a giant set of mechanical hands, allowing you to pick up and “handhold” in real life any willing woman.

This should be a thing. An elaborate fetish room.

Somewhere, someone, sometime....

Isn't that basically what happened with the 1976 King Kong?

Animatronics, yes. I really miss those. It's way more real than nowadays, where CGI is easier to do, but all you get is the illusion of the handheld.

That's really cool!

I miss the animatronic hands, too. Maybe as practical FX come back, we'll see more of those.

One random complaint: we've had over a dozen Marvel and DC movies and not a single proper handheld. Nor a token tentacle grab. Weird.

Peter Jackson was building mechanical hands for his first iteration of King Kong, in 1996. Ah, what could have been.
