Preferred SW family member scenario?

I think both are unique yet similar in one aspect- the shift in power.
When a mother shrinks, her authority over her children practically vanishes. Her power to control the kids is limited to verbal commands and she can no longer intimidate them with her larger size, leaving the mom at their mercy.

Now when I say "daughter", I'm talking about girls at their late teens/early twenties, an age where kids start to feel like they're mature enough to be independent and free. Shrinking immediately takes away those feelings of freedom, since the daughter is now helpless and cannot survive on her own. She is in need of supervising perhaps than ever because even moving around inside her own house could be dangerous.

What are your thoughts?

The power shift is alluring but I feel better if they were step and not biological

Shrunken mom abd nermal sized daughter by a mile.
I preferred the mom because they are suppost to be the leadership authority.
