It is quite dead an dear Mike has a problem with his temperament.
He decides what proper art is and what is just shit he has to delete. The previous mod did a fantastic job in building a community while Mike didn't care about his own server. So Mike finally decided to manage things himself, which resulted in ugly insults against persons who posted things he didn't want to see or were in his opinion just bad quality. So the prevous mod has now an own server and it is a nicer place where you can find some real artists are actually posting .

Actually, he's right. I've ran into drama from a bunch of SJWs in 3 other servers not too long ago. One of which (The Real Squeeze Club), I stayed in, thanks to people defending me and banning that idiot right out of there for causing beef over nothing. And all I did was agree with them on how bad RWBY has become these days.
So yeah, drama can happen that way, especially from random people that spawned out that cesspool, known as Twitter.

RWBY does have a number of SW candidates in its ranks -- it does
have that going for it. (My favs would be Weiss, Yang, Neo, Velvet)
