I hope more people will jump into Pixiv and Newgrounds too. Plus Discord for contacts. Cause there's no way in Hell am I ever making a Twitter account just to reach them. If anything, I'd rather reach them on Instagram than on Twitter.

Either way, that is terrible news, there's way too much stuff to backup, we might lose some classics forever. I thought our societies were on their way to MORE freedom, but these past few years have been nothing but the opposite.

That's what happens to alot of big companies these days. Chasing that bottom line and fake ESG/DEI cred, only to chase off the fans that made them as big as they used to be. Unless they find a way course correct all this, and get better management, go back to how it used to be, I'm afraid their days are numbered.

I made my Pixiv account. Not much there, yet. Their rules are different, and they don't seem to allow photomanips of other people's work. That eliminates lots of my older stuff.

I'm seeing some messages that the "purge" is just pointing to guidelines that are several years old. So it is one of those undying memes, like every two years people claiming Mars being the size of the full moon. I hope so.

With D/A it was for my more explicit content. Which is why they are now posted elsewhere. Youtube I had made slide shows of my stories at 1st the clean parts then saw plenty of what I would consider soft porn. I re edited my stuff with some added I was suspended. Eventually youtube revamped it all got wiped, I never bothered re posting.

Well goddamn it, deviantart is one if the few places I go to look at SW art whenever I’m in the mood here and there. I don’t know where else to go to find a large collection of SW art outside of here and lurking around on the art section on giantcesscity.net

(Also im now kinda curious to see if dA will take down a completely SFW SM pic I have saved in my favorites. Would be ironically funny imo considering there’s nothing obviously sexual about it. Feel like I wouldn’t really be too surprised if they did)

Facebook has the same type of rumors periodically. People post statements on their walls, "I do not give my permission, blah, blah." And nothing comes to fruition. Just another way Big Brother is trying to control us.

These rules are nothing new and represent a statement they will enforce the law. I wouldn’t be surprised if some ex-girlfriend sued DA for defamation after their ex posted some revenge porn. It’s horrible but it happens a lot
