I could not believe my luck. Out of all the entries in the contest, mine was the one drawn. A night on the town with Christina Hendrix as part of a promotion for her new television series. Of all the entrants though, I had an ace up my sleeve. My degrees in electrical and quantum physics and a healthy stipend from my late father allowed me to pursue avenues of invention that guys bogged down in the academic "publish or perish" world could never hope to chase. Part of the date was a half-hour one-on-one conversation in Christina's hotel room so we could get to know each other a bit before the limo arrived and we hit the town for dinner and a show. I left that hotel room alone. Well not actually alone; I smuggled a little something out!
