New Book Has Finally Launched

Post by Tina Tempest » Fri May 08, 2020 6:18 pm

The COVID virus is really hitting Amazon. I submitted my most recent book "Tiny Loves" a week ago. Ordinarily, it would have taken no more than three days to go live. As it is. It is currently in "publishing" status but can be purchased if you search Tina Tempest Tiny Loves in the Amazon search box.
The four stories this time:

Tina Tempest, the queen of shrink fiction, returns with another themed collection. Who can chart the course of love? These four erotic tales all follow very different trajectories of Cupid’s arrow. “My Little Margie” relates a bachelor’s most unusual but quite satisfying evening. “Baker’s Dozen” features a dogged detective and a collection of beautiful but vastly displaced women. A poker hand alters fates in “Royal Flush.” Finally, “The Homeowners” features a unique solution to a temporary cash-flow problem, with a most unexpected denouement. These stories, always erotic and adult, are, by turns, mischievous, adventurous, romantic, and heart-wrenching. All make perfect reading for anyone who has ever contemplated the exotic wonder and sexy allure of tiny women.

Here is the beginning of:
My Little Margie

“Margie Likes you, Daniel,”
“That’s nice, Pete, I like her too.”
“No, Margie really likes you!”
“Oh,” I replied softly. So, I hadn’t been

imagining things. I recalled the first time I saw Margie. It was a hot summer day and a moving van pulled into the old Sullivan place across the street. I decided to both welcome the newcomers to the neighborhood and also figure out if they had any traits that made for being a bad neighbor, like loud power saws, a rottweiler, or hobbies like motorcycle engine repair. A male voice summoned me inside. She was standing on a table directing her husband Pete around. I was stunned. I’d heard of voluntarily shrunken people, but I hadn’t met one before. She was no more than two and a half feet tall and perfectly proportioned. She wore a huge diamond on her wedding finger. She had long platinum blonde hair which was tied back and wore a white halter top which she filled out admirably with matching shorts from which sprouted an amazing pair of legs. I was smitten immediately. Looking closer, I noted a jewel and gold anklet on her right leg. Quite often that meant… I filed the information away. “That’s interesting, I continued.”
“Yeah, she wants to see if you are as good a cook as you claim.”
“Well, I’m free Friday night, why don’t you and Margie…”
“I got things to do.”
“Oh, so it will just be Margie?”
“Yeah, I hope you don’t mind, Daniel.”
“No, that’s no problem,” I returned slowly. “What’s her favorite dinner? It there anything she can’t or won’t eat?”
“She’ll eat any well-prepared meal, but she won’t touch veal on principle. She’d want you to surprise her, Daniel.”
“That shouldn’t be a problem,” I returned.
Pete laughed, and our conversation returned to very ordinary waters, his ongoing home repair project, and the upcoming football season. The mundaneness of the conversation helped me to successfully stifle my woody. Later that night, I made sure that Pete successfully staggered his way across the street. Margie hates when I get him drunk but I’m irrepressible. Besides, I felt like celebrating.
I’d gotten to know Pete and Margie quite well in the relatively short time they had been living in the neighborhood. Pete bit off a remodeling project that was just beyond the capabilities of one man. He needed someone to support things and give him the third arm he was not born with. I volunteered because I’m a nice guy, but really, I did it because it gave me a chance to spend time with Margie. She was never less than pleasant to gaze upon. She dressed well, even when all she was doing was relaxing. Her anklet always made an appearance. Her laugh was musical and infectious. She was funny, sassy, and despite being tiny, was all woman. The way Pete demurred to her I knew who was in charge of the relationship. I liked Pete a great deal as well. He was smart, skilled with his hands, and a good conversationalist. We rooted for different sports teams. That led to some great discussions! I had a VERY good idea what Margie had in mind!

I hope this whets your appetites. PLEASE let me know what you think of this collection and reviews are always appreciated.

Love, luck, and lollipops, Tina Tempest

It was a great collection! The only thing I might ask is that you figure out a way to state the sizes of the women involved.

I'm SO glad you liked my stories. In two of the stories, I made clear how tall the women were. Margie Is about two feet tall and the detective is shrunken to about one foot. In the other two, I let the reader supply the height, though I implied they were more or less Barbie-sized. I find that sometimes it is better for the reader to not spell everything out. If you are so inclined, Amazon reviews are always appreciated.
Thank you, Tina Tempest

I...am in love with this collection!

So, of the four, my favorite story was "Royal Flush." I even like to think that two pages after the story ends, Doug asks her if she wants to be Michelle or Binh. Now, let me be clear in saying if Douglas and Michelle were both normal sized, this would be a dysfunctional relationship that was bordering on 50 Shades of Gray. But considering that both of them actually entered this relationship involuntarily, and that they are having to navigate the weird and hastily constructed societal constructs that must have been thrown up in a hurry to deal with the new shrinking phenomenon, it is a rather sappy love story that is very endearing. Plus, I love Douglas having to learn how to take care of his new tiny companion.

I saw the ending of the Homeowners a mile away, but still enjoyed it. It's a neat little twist on the predatory payday loans that flooded the American consumer market for more than a decade.

I did not see the plot twist on Baker's Dozen coming, and I won't repeat it here, so as not to spoil it for anyone not having read it. I do enjoy the fact that you dealt with the aftereffects of being deprogrammed.

Probably my least favorite story was My Little Margie, though I did still like it. But that's strictly my taste. I enjoyed Royal Flush the most because, since I'm ethnic and the heroine is ethnic, I could put myself in her place and enjoy being there, both in the size I imagined her at and the way she interacted with Douglas. Margie was blonde, not my favorite size, and I guess the whole swapping or swinging or whatever it's called didn't appeal to me. But again, that's strictly my taste, and like all your stories, still very well written.

Dear FifteencettKim,

Thank you for your honest and well thought out criticism. I am glad you enjoy my stories. I understand that not all my stories are to every taste but I try to include something for everyone in each collection. I also try to include a size range so Margie is on the tall scale of shrunken women. I try to include ethnic women because blonde little Barbies can become boring if there are too many of them. I also like to think I rise to the challenge of writing convincing ethnic characters. In my single days, my goal was to date the entire human rainbow. I base my ethnic women on the mothers or sisters of various men I dated. They are in there too, deep down. In any event, it is not a lily-white world.
Thanks for your review -- Sincerely, Tina.
