OK, this one is a long shot, but will ask anyway
Hi guys,
OK, I know it is very, very unlikely that anyone can point me in the right direction here, but I would be remiss not to ask at least. So back during the 1980's, when I was still a teenager, I came across a tantalizing advert in an adult-oriented magazine printed here in Australia. The product was called "The Male Chauvinists Calendar". It had the by-line of "miniature topless women in embarrassing situations". Yet what was most tantalizing of all, at the time, was the picture they showed with the advert.....a shrunken naked woman standing in a fancy glass bowl filled with strawberries and cream, with her being clearly covered in said cream. It was the first collage that I'd ever seen and it had a profound impact on me at the time. Sadly, I cannot track down that calendar or the advert for it. If anyone is aware of it and knows where to find the relevant pictures, I'd be greatly obliged.

Just a listing but you'd probably do a better job tracking this down, someone named Helena Ford from the "Male Chauvinist Calendar" was a guest on an Australian talk show in 1982:

Fascinating. I wasn't aware of that. Thanks for the heads up. Now I just have to find the episode in question and see if it can send me in the right direction.ensmallen wrote: ↑Mon May 27, 2024 12:28 amJust a listing but you'd probably do a better job tracking this down, someone named Helena Ford from the "Male Chauvinist Calendar" was a guest on an Australian talk show in 1982:

I've gotten a big blank on this, except for the note on the show. I can't find a Helena Ford anywhere.Fascinating. I wasn't aware of that. Thanks for the heads up. Now I just have to find the episode in question and see if it can send me in the right direction.

OK, so based on the information provided regarding the date of that Mike Walsh Episode, I *think* I may be onto something......not the actual calendar but perhaps the original advertisement. On ebay, you've got a company that sells vintage copies of People Magazine Australia from that era 1981-1982, which is roughly the year in which the calendar came out if the info from that Mike Walsh thing is accurate. At this point, if I could get my hands on the one picture they showed off in the ad, then I'd be extremely happy.

This should help you narrow it down, A_L: that Mike Walsh episode that had Ricky Nelson performing broadcast on October 5, 1982.
